Canton Church Sponsors

Canton Church Restoration, Inc. was established to restore and preserve the historic St. Joseph Catholic Church (Canton Church) built in 1875-1876.  At the time that Canton Church Restoration, Inc. was formed approximately $8,000 were raised to restore the church which had become very run down. The actual cost to restore and renovate the church was estimated to be approximately $100,000. The difference in what was raised and the actual cost was made up by volunteers and donatios of time, effort and materials.

The Historic Canton Church was built to be a community resource and the Canton Church Restoration Board has strived to keep the Canton Church a community center by offering a slate of events every summer that is FREE to anyone that wants to attend. The Canton Church has always been a part of the Broadwater Community and is also dependent on the Community.

This year, the Board of Directors has implemented a Canton Church Sponsor Program. Your sponsorship helps continue our efforts to restore and preserve historic St. Joseph Mission Church for future generations.

Your donation, as a sponsor, is tax-deductible as Canton Church Restoration, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the preservation of the Canton Church and it's history.
